Pros & Cons
- The Schwalbe Nobby Nic is the MTB tyre for wet and muddy conditions but also suitable for enduro and trail descents.
- The new tread design of the Nobby Nic has greatly improved its self-cleaning ability in wet conditions.
- The Addix rubber compound offers a good combination of all properties and a very long lifespan.
- Thanks to the extra rubber layer of the TwinSkin carcass, you are well protected against cuts from the side.
- Tubeless Ready technology makes the tyres easy to make tubeless with 90ml of latex sealant per tyre.
- The tall and open knob profile of the Nobby Nic makes this tyre less suitable for the road or for really hard surfaces.
- Tubeless sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.

Technology
AddixThe Addix rubber compound is a universal compound for Schwalbe's Performance line. Similar to Addix SpeedGrip, this rubber compound offers a good balance between the various properties. Furthermore, Addix lasts very long.
TwinSkin
The TwinSkin carcass is a lightweight carcass with an extra rubber layer from bead to bead. It protects the tyre against cuts, also on the sides, and provides more cornering stability.
Tubeless Ready
Schwalbe's tyres from the Performance line are suitable for riding without an inner tube thanks to their extra-stable core and rubber reinforced sidewalls. The fitting process is also easy for TLR tyres.

At the top!
Product meets my expectations. The quality/price ratio is good, and the order, processing and dispatch of the product were ultra-fast.

Great grip as a front tire in dry conditions.
Used as a tire on my front wheel for a weekend in the Ardennes. Rear tire was a Rocket Ron. In dry conditions this tire gives a lot of grip and a lot of security. Your bike really becomes a tractor. If you also had one day of wet weather, you notice that the tire fills up quickly because of the high stud profile. And then, of course, you have a lot less grip.

Fine tire for loose sand
I installed the NN as a front tire instead of the Rocket Ron. The NN is slightly wider 2.25 vs. 2.10. But for me, as a huge amateur, still noticeably calmer in steering. As a Tubeless tire fitting was easy. Just pressurized with the hand pump so the tire could then be filled with latex. I didn't need a compressor to make the tire "pop" into the rim.
